We work with our partners to create powerful instructional materials that promote gender, racial, ethnic, ability, and language equity.
USAID UEEP
USAID’s Uzbekistan Education for Excellence Program (UEEP) was a multiyear collaboration between RTI, the Uzbek Ministry of Public Education, and local content experts and artists to develop Math, Uzbek Language Arts, and Information and Communications Technology (ICT) student textbooks and instructional guides for teachers in elementary, middle, and secondary schools. Working closely with RTI’s technical team, Brattle provided page design and composition services, illustration, and quality assurance services.
ABC+ My TV School Philippines
USAID and the Philippine Department of Education sponsored My TV School! to continue literacy instruction for the nation’s children using accessible media formats during long-term school closures. Brattle worked with a multinational team of experts to create a series of television scripts that included bridging strategies from mother tongue to English.
USAID RELIT Senegal
The Renforcement de la Lecture Initiale pour Tous (RELIT) project is focused on improving early-grade reading instruction and reading outcomes for children speaking French and five Senegalese national languages. Brattle worked closely with RTI staff to create and deliver a four-part workshop on effective instructional and visual design and production of a large-scale curriculum.
During this project, Brattle created graphic designs and templates for Grades K–2 and is composing thousands of pages of the kindergarten program in Wolof, Pulaar, Seereer, Mandinka, Soninke, and a complete French control version.

Kennedy Institute for the U.S. Senate
Brattle’s content developers worked with Institute staff to adapt existing content and create new materials for a series of civics-based educational resources, which included Today’s Vote simulations, Civics at Home, Youth Action Projects, and the Green Design Challenge. Brattle provided instructional design, content development, editing, standards alignment, and design/production.
Lexia® English Language Development
The Brattle team wrote reteaching content, offering scaffolded support and instruction for science, math, social studies, and general knowledge concepts. Brattle’s writers assisted in troubleshooting the initial content management system (CMS) and offered suggestions for process improvements.
Istation Math Micro-Lessons
Brattle’s math team worked closely with the client to create 32 engaging animated math videos, using a backward-design framework correlated to state standards. We created two helper characters and used the background of national parks to enhance learning. Ten TEIs accompany each video lesson.
“The team has always been highly professional and committed to excellence, both to implementing pedagogical best practices and to satisfying client demands even under aggressive timelines.”
