Author Sam Valentino and Daughter Launch Ronald McDonald House Fundraiser
DALLAS, TX – Brattle Publishing Group (BPG) announced today their children’s book author Sam Valentino has launched a crowdfunding fundraiser to support the Ronald McDonald House. Donations including purchases of Valentino’s award-winning The Silver Rings and any books from his recently released Early Readers’ Fairy Tale Collection, will enter supporters in a lottery to win a personalized copy of The Jungle Explorers, a book authored by Valentino’s youngest daughter Arianna, now 7, who wrote the book at age 4. Valentino illustrated the book and will create a one-of-a-kind cover page for the campaign’s winner.
“As a husband and father, I love creating unique books as personalized gifts for my family,” said Valentino. “That is something I want to share with families at the Ronald McDonald House, and I am excited to team up with my daughter in this crowdfunding fundraiser.”
The Silver Rings is Valentino’s first book. Released in 2014, it has been awarded a Moonbeam Children’s Book Gold Award, and has been nominated by the children’s book blogging community for a Cybils Award. In January, he released The Early Readers’ Fairy Tale Collection, a set of three classic fairy tales brought back to life with beautiful illustrations and age appropriate text. The collection includes The Frog Prince, The Three Billy Goats Gruff, and The Woodcutters and the Mermaid.
